When will the uber geeks ever learn. Companies have been working on this stuff for a long time. Its not a technological problem, its a fashion problem. The last thing someone who just got Lasik wants to do is don a pair of glasses.
People who constantly reach into a pocket to check a smartphone for bits of information will soon have another option: a pair of Google-made glasses that will be able to stream information to the wearer’s eyeballs in real time.
Yet later, he also notes:
The glasses are not designed to be worn constantly — although Google expects some of the nerdiest users will wear them a lot — but will be more like smartphones, used when needed.
If that's the case, why would I get these again?
I see watches being the better place to put this type of information. Only the uber geeks will be wearing these.
